QC - Revenu Quebec announces new authentication service for individual access to online services

Residents of Quebec can currently obtain access to their online government accounts through the provincial government’s clicSÉQUR service, or by logging in using their financial institution login id and password, through the “Sign-in Partner” option.

Revenu Quebec has announced that it will be introducing a new Government Authentication Service to be used in logging in to individual online government accounts, and that that new service will replace clicSÉQUR. The date for the change was not provided, but Quebec residents who currently have a clicSÉQUR account can continue to use it until the change is made. These changes do not affect the Sign-in Partner login option.

When first signing in using the new Government Authentication Service, users will need to have information from their health insurance card and the notice of assessment number from a notice issued to them for the 2022, 2023, or 2024 taxation years. Details of the new Government Authentication Service and how to register for it can be found on the Revenu Quebec website at https://www.revenuquebec.ca/en/citizens/my-account-for-individuals/#accordion_90321=[0,2].
