The province of Québec administers a Shelter Allowance Program which provides up to $170 per month to lower-income residents of the province who must spend a disproportionate share of their budget on housing. Benefits under that Program are available to eligible homeowners, tenants, and boarders.

Revenu Québec has announced that application forms for the Program year which runs from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025 are now available.
